Hypnosis to early life experiences
When a client is hypnotized and regressed to the prenatal stage, many times the feelings and emotions expressed are those of the mother. The infant’s understanding from the womb is blissful or painful, depending on the feeling received from the mother.
These experiences begin to influence the personality throughout your life if there is no intervention. It is possible to examine these experiences in an hypnotic state and reverse emotion patterns and attitudes that may have been previously unrecognized. Regression to an earlier period of life allows healing of painful imprints that have occured.
Studies have discovered the following principles of regression into the prenatal state:
1) Within the womb, we do not have a sense of self. We have not yet developed an identity or a sense of autonomy.
2) We are receptive and respond to the emotions of our mother, who exists as our entire physical environment in which we live. We do not initiate processes through our own free will or decision making
3) We tend to harmoniously absorb the mothers, and occasionally the fathers emotions.
4) We possess a limited ability to differentiate between the feelings of others and our own.
5) We are exposed to the parental emotions that encircle us. We have no way to withdraw or separate ourselves from emotions that are unpleasant or threatening. We are not able to defend the emotions is good, desirable or undesirable. We have not developed a psychological ability to avert; incorporate, adjust, or discharge negative emotions.
6) We have no impression of time or the existence of change. We do not realize that experiences change, end, or are replaced by another experiences. The current moment, whether it is happy or hurting, seems forever.
7) Within our confined facility, we adapt to the prenatal environment. Our emotions, attitudes, self-esteem, and self-expression are given definition by those adaptations tour personal experience, and follow birth are psychological development strongly influenced by them. The prenatal experience propels life in a particular direction.
